My good friends and colleagues Travis Lubinsky and Trevor Jones founded Flex Watches in 2011 to raise funds and awareness for different charities while creating fun products that Millennials would love. The watches have evolved over the years, but their mission to help others with stylish tech and accessories has remained constant. Flex has raised tens of thousands of meals for impoverished children in Mexico and partnered with organizations that range from fighting cancer and helping injured veterans to providing clean water and food to children in need. This is a campaign that any AlphaNerd can get behind.
Flex has been fortunate to receive massive exposure over the years from TV and celebrity endorsements which has allowed the company to have a positive impact on even more people's lives. In 2012, the company was featured on MTV's The Real World as an integral part of the season's story. Since then, Flex has partnered with music star Tyga and has acquired licensing rights to dozens of artists, athletes, and entrepreneurs. Some of these celebrity advocates include Daymond John, Xzibit, Tito Ortiz, Lil Jon, and many more. They also have partnerships with the WWE, Anaheim Ducks, Special Olympics, Stand UP to Cancer, and more. Flex Watches has been featured on ESPN, Bravo, and most major TV networks, and can be found in Tilly's, Hot Topic, and Shiekh retail stores across the country. Today, Flex is trying to raise even more awareness to the brand and their causes through a huge Kickstarter campaign.
The new watch, initially available only to campaign backers, is by far the most advanced and best yet. It features a 5 Hand Chronograph Movement with 3 sub-dials - a 60 second timer, a day of the week hand, and a day of the month hand - and a minimalistic design with only one knob. The watch is water resistant up to 100 feet, features Crystal glass, Micron Gold plating, and a stainless back plate. The watch movement is Epson, finished with high grade silicone or a choice of metal links. The styles include Black with a Steel band, Black with a Sport band, Gold with a Sport band, and Gold with a Steel band. These are high-quality, stylish watches with a look for everyone.
